This website introduces Aster and collects interest in its future beta. It does not create a learner account or assess your language ability.
When you join the waitlist
We store your email address and signup time so the Aster team can contact you about beta availability and opportunities to help shape the product. Signup details are available to the team through its private database dashboard, and a private signup notification is queued for the team. Notification email delivery is not yet enabled.
The form asks only for email. The learner goals elsewhere on this website are prepared illustrations; browsing them does not create a personal learner profile.
When you answer the optional survey
We store your language-learning answers, survey version, submission time, source (such as the website or in-person research), and your research follow-up choice. The Aster team reviews this information for product research and to identify people who want follow-up. Free-response answers are stored as you write them. Please avoid sharing sensitive personal information about yourself or others.
You may submit anonymously. An optional name and research email are used only to contact you about your responses or possible research conversations. They do not enroll you in the waitlist or product updates. After your answers are saved, you may join through a separate waitlist form. Only that explicit action can link your survey response to a signup. An email address does not verify your identity. Survey participation alone is not treated as interest in Aster.
Your unfinished draft is held in this browser tab’s session storage so you can go back or reload without losing answers. It is cleared after submission or when you discard it. Some browsers can restore a tab’s session data when reopening it. On a shared device, discard your draft before leaving. A random submission reference makes retries safe. After submission, this tab keeps a completion receipt so reloading does not submit again and an optional waitlist signup can be linked. The saved receipt does not contain your answers or email; any email prefill is held only on the current page. No answers or email addresses are placed in page links or sent to traffic analytics.
Keeping the forms reliable
The signup service checks requests and limits repeated submissions to reduce spam and abuse. It uses a short-lived rate-limit identifier derived from the request’s network address; it does not store that address in the waitlist record. Rate-limit identifiers stop applying after their short window and are removed during subsequent cleanup.
Basic website analytics
When enabled, Cloudflare Web Analytics provides aggregate website traffic information without analytics cookies. We do not send your email address or form contents to analytics. Survey answers are kept separate from traffic analytics.
Changing your mind
You can decline future beta invitations. To leave the waitlist, ask a privacy question, or request removal of your signup or survey response, email [email protected]. If you submitted anonymously, include your submission reference if you have it so we can identify the response.
